About the Artist
The SoCal native came up inspired by his surrounding community of hip hop and comic books. Over the years turning to darker pieces of artwork that envoked a sense of uneasiness inside him. Combining these seemingly polar opposites in his life, To form something entirely new. Alex Gruff describes his work as “beauty with a lingering sadness”
In 2021 Gruff began work in an entirely new field; the film industry. Beginning work on an untitled series set to debut sometime in 2024.
