The Domestic Pressure Of Slow Cookers
“But I’m a creep, I’m a weirdo” the fox hummed as news reported increasing strife near the equator. The television’s glass dulled with the negativity, plastic houseplants melted themselves into aeroplanes to escape the atmosphere. A squatting cat made an air raid shelter from a yellowed duvet holed like quantum foam. Something whistled a prayer in the kitchen, but everything ignored it. The rain outside danced its way into a new era, while we breakdanced into oblivion. I can’t remember what happened to the fox or who was pretending to be one that year.
