About the Writer
A writer with a love for all things horror, and have always been fascinated with the macabre, David once I saw how much fun it was to scare people and how he’s hooked on creating chilling tales like those he grew up with. David seeks to explore why certain things frighten us, and is drawn to horror where the boogeyman is a stand-in for a bigger fear at work in our subconscious.
David is married, with two young kids and two rescued dogs, and is a big advocate for dog. rescues and adoptions.
Despite what people may think of NOC, it’s actually a love letter to one of my favorite dog breeds.
About the Artist
Nate is creative who vomits clever ideas. Labeling himself as both ignorant and optimistic, Nate tries to make the best out of what life throws at him and keep rolling as he adds to his bag of faulty tricks. He’s dabbled in different forms of art since a youth ranging from Film/TV to Graffiti, Dance to Music…. Even an aircraft mechanic. Nathan owns Pork Chop Express, an indie comic publisher, with his wife. Along with an awesome crew they’ve produced the series, ”Night of the Chihuahuas,” and have more titles coming including, “Killer hair,” and, “Family Man!”
Nate is also an advocate for mental health and wellbeing, and is working with licensed medical providers and others in the industry to bring awareness to challenges creators may face, how they can get support and work from a balanced, safe and healthy foundation. The hope is to bring these subjects to light in podcasts and panels at comic cons.
He resides in Phoenix, AZ with his wife and two sons.
