Cream Scene Christmas

Hey, Cream Sceners, What Do You Like?

Beppi (And Mary)

A Christmas Movie Marathon at Beppi’s- I love a movie with a Christmas tree beat down, Friday After Next & Female Trouble(who doesn’t want to be made love to on Christmas morning on a dirty mattress in Baltimore); Invader Zim’s Christmas Special has long been a family favorite!; Sorry, but Die Hard– NYC 90s punk band, Hurry Up Offense, wrote a brilliant Die Hard themed song which makes me love it more! My favorite is Rosalind Russell in Auntie Mame.

My sister Mary likes Black Christmas (1974), Nightmare Before Christmas, Moral Orel (Best Christmas Ever), Silent Night, Deadly Night

Katy

My little collection is Die Hard, A Charlie Brown Christmas, The Gremlins, one and two. And I still get little kid enjoyment from Home Alone, even though it infuriates me.

Kiki

Definitely Elf!

Oh, no. I love mush. I’ll schlock around the clock: Hallmark marathons just playing in the background for weeks. It’s Pavlov’s dog for me. Some chick has to lie to her family so she hires the singing telegram guy in the gorilla suit? I am there. I used to watch Downton Abbey on Christmas Day. We’d pirate it and watch like Brits. Like pirates! I also love a Netflix Christmas series. This year it was Spain’s Smiley, a romance between two dudes. My favorite.

Cara

Nah. I’m more into Christmas British panel shows. Movies require too much attention for too long. I like Christmas TV Specials. Qi Christmas. or Taskmaster New Years Day Treat. Oh, and the OG Grinch. And Charlie Brown Christmas. Oh, and Muppet Family Christmas. Okay, I guess I do like x-mas movies.

Kizzy

Grinch or It’s A Wonderful Life, if ya want heartwarming.

Muotikummitus

“The Snowman”, 1982’s animated British television film based on 1978 Raymond Briggs’s book “The Snowman”.

Andy

It’s A Wonderful Life and the TV Special, Emmett Otter’s Jug Band Christmas. By a country mile!

Rudolph The red-Nosed Reindeer, the claymation one.

Lauren

Twilight and New Moon

Omar

Well,  my favorite Christmas movie is Gremlins 2 (the one where they go to New York City). I know it’s not set in Christmas, but it makes me feel warm in this time of year.

Frank

The Barely Legal Bitch Who Stole Christmas.

Chef Sutton

Bad Santa

Francesca

Hunger Games, not a Christmas movie, but it’s a tradition with my daughter.

Val

The Junky’s Christmas and an Italian Christmas movie called Parenti Serpenti. Oh! And Nightmare Before Christmas. Actually, I’m a little Christmas addict: The Shop Around The Corner, The Man Who Came To Dinner, A Christmas Story, Cash On Demand, Bell, Book and Candle, The City Of Lost Children, Fanny Alexandr, 8 Femmes and 1935’s Scrooge.

Sara

Oh I love Fantaghiro, a wild fantasy adventure about a brave princess that I used to watch when I was a kid, it always aired around Christmas.
